LocWorld never ceases to amaze me, the level of conversations in LocWorldWide43 with words like “Empathy”, “Translation industry’s resilience”, “Kindness”, “Feeling personally connected to your customer”, “Adapting to our client’s needs and always finding a solution to their challenges”, “Care”, among others, feels like an upward spiral in times like this. Happy to be part of a group of people who thinks like this!

Fantastic! The presentations were very good (interesting, presented in a professional way, contained substantial information and were inspiring at the same time). The site was comfortable, exhibits interesting and the food was marvelous.

This was a particularly good conference. There was an all-round positive vibe and it was possible to detect a clear shift toward localization as a driver of global growth, rather than the usual afterthought. The venue, as always, was perfect for a conference of this size.

One of the highlights of my first LocWorld was talking to some of the most popular influencers in the localization industry. (It was such an honor to chat with them on Remo!) Kudos to the whole LocWorld team for providing all attendees with the best online experience and for the successful communication strategy.

Large industry conferences are mostly just about business. LocWorld is not. It is a highly professional event where you can get information on latest developments, meet industry thought leaders, network with friends, peers and new people from all over the world in an informal environment. memoQ has marked upcoming LocWorld conferences into its calendar for the next 20 years already.

What started in 2003 has become an iconic brand in the industry, and it’s easy to see why. The vibe, the people, the content, the networking, and all the related events. Who wouldn’t want to come to LocWorld?

LocWorldWide43 was an enlightening and engaging experience. I especially appreciated sessions that highlighted innovations, trends that affect our industry, and strategic insights. I know that virtual networking is a big challenge for any conference and I am glad that I found several different ways to interact with other attendees. This has been the most effective virtual conference I've ever attended, thanks to the diligence and preparation of the organizers and presenters. Bravo!

I was certainly expecting to learn a lot about localization at LocWorld, and to connect with potential partners, and the conference definitely delivered on this front. What I wasn't expecting was such an immediate positive impact on our bottom line! New business inquiries started the Monday after the conference and by Wednesday we had landed our largest contract to date.
