The Attracting and Developing Talent initiative continues its efforts to work on solutions to the challenges of attracting and educating professionally trained staff in the localization industry to confront the talent shortage. Meetings in 2016 brought together academics, clients and recruiters to understand the needs of each other and match academic curricula to industry needs. In this session we will focus on how to improve the visibility of the localization industry and its career opportunities. It will bring together industry leaders, marketing and public relations people, and educators to develop steps to increase both the attractiveness of localization careers and visibility of the industry.
