The video game industry often sees localization as an afterthought, which results in an enormous waste of time and resources near the end of development when these are scarce. In this presentation we will provide advice on planning an appropriate pipeline to implement internationalization and automate workflows in game localization. These three steps, if delivered properly, can cut costs by decreasing the time and development resources needed to localize a game while increasing the quality of the localized product.

Takeaways: How to create pipelines, select tools and implement internationalization early during the development process.
