The perennial dilemma of prioritizing two out of the three goals of quality, cost and time, does not mean that you can’t measure and improve any or all three. Aimed at advanced localization professionals, we will outline measurement concepts pertaining to workflow and scale, and share two specific case studies of the concepts at work including the value of investments in translators and measuring the value of improving transactional efficiencies. Key concepts will include cost, quality and cadence variables and how they impact quality, how to establish baselines to measure improvements and ideas on how to uncover hidden underlying drivers (and pitfalls) of economies of scale.
