From behavioral biology to IT localization: Brigitte Herrmann majored in behavioral biology and earned a doctorate in neurophysiology and human genetics. As a research associate in the neuropsychiatry department at Friedrich-Alexander Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany, she focused on studying behavior patterns and their neuronal contexts. But her interest was sparked during a hiring interview with Siemens and she joined the company in 1989. Today, Brigitte is a senior consultant at Siemens Healthineers focusing on technical documentation, localization and translation management, as well as supplier management. She is also lead auditor and expert during audits of Siemens Healthcare localization vendors.
