Camela Logan is a senior user experience (UX) researcher at Facebook. In her role, she attains a deep understanding of what matters most to Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Messenger product users around the world — a dream for someone with a strong conviction in the power of cross-cultural communication like herself. Previously, Camela worked as a UX research consultant for eBay, UN Women and various startups in New York City, Los Angeles and Washington, DC. A Ford Fellow of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, she also worked in translation (French to English and English to French) throughout her doctoral studies in romance languages at the University of Michigan (specializing in contemporary francophone African expressive cultures), masters studies in medieval and modern languages (French) at the University of Oxford and undergraduate studies in French language and international relations at Brown University.
