Demin Yan is the senior engineering manager for product globalization at VMware, where he takes care of VMware product internationalization and localization engineering, consulting, and testing, and drives the tools development efforts. Demin has worked in the software internationalization and localization field for over 20 years, focusing on evangelizing the internationalization best practices and promoting them to the R&D developer community; designing product internationalization and localization support framework; and developing tools and solutions to improve processes and quality. He holds three patents in software internationalization, localization, and security.
