Karla is an experienced advertising professional with a deep focus on multicultural communications. She is passionate about translating culture into business results for her clients and dedicated to help them grow and succeed in the Hispanic market. She has been part of the Casanova family for almost 15 years and the McCann Worldgroup network for over 20 years.
She started her career in Mexico City, where she is from, and gained marketing experience working for a film distributor company until she transitioned to advertising and began working on multiple iconic brands. Her almost 25 years of client experience include packaged goods, pharmaceuticals, financial services, government, and alcoholic beverage categories within others, with both Hispanic-specific and Total Market experience.
She has successfully managed iconic global brands like Nestlé, MasterCard, Banamex Citi Group, Pernod Ricard and Tiffany; and led many meaningful brands such as: NESCAFE, Starbucks, DiGiorno, Nesquik, Coffee mate, Maggi, La Lechera, Abuelita and NIDO; Helados Mexico, Alpura and Tequila Herradura among many others.
