Mark Walsh is an 18-year veteran of Pixar Animation Studios, where he developed technology and characters for nearly every Pixar feature. He directed the Toy Story short, Partysaurus Rex, supervised animation for Academy Award winners Finding Nemo and Ratatouille, and developed interactive characters for Disney Parks. After Pixar, Mark created Gary the Gull, the first interactive character in virtual reality. He designed Facebook’s new Storytime platform, which connects families through augmented reality. Now the founder and CEO of Motional.ai, Mark is creating relational technology that gives virtual beings the “people skills” to be likable.
