Melissa Sterner is the Localization Program Manager at LastPass, where she leads the localization team. She is responsible for developing the business’s localization strategy and roadmap, scaling the team’s localization workflows, and managing the localized content for global launches of LastPass’ products, website, support site, and marketing campaigns. Her favorite part about working in tech is teaming up with engineers and developers to build and optimize technical localization processes. Prior to LastPass, Melissa spent several years on the vendor side, where she was able to hone her project management skills. She holds a double bachelor’s degree in German and Chinese studies from the University of Delaware, as well as a master’s degree in translation from The Middlebury Institute of International Studies.
