Monique Flageul Márquez leads localization at Deel as the company’s inaugural Localization Program Manager. Originally from New Mexico, she has studied and worked in multiple countries since 2013. She began her career as a Language Engineer at Amazon and brings a background in formal linguistics and natural language processing. She approaches localization as both a structured system and a creative discipline, balancing logic with the evolving possibilities of language and AI. Monique is based in Berlin and has a strong interest in global cultures and languages.
