Pascaline Merten holds master’s degrees in linguistics and information science from the University of Brussels (ULB) and a PhD. After being active in the private sector, she dedicated her carreer to research and teaching. Pascaline is teaching machine-aided translation and translation technologies at the Department of Translation and Interpretation of the ULB. She participated in the European-funded projects eCoLoRe and eCoLoTrain, and led the eCoLoMedia project. Besides her teaching, Pascaline is associate dean for study programs of the Faculty LTC (Letters, Translation and Communication). Her main focuses of interest are translation technologies, eLearning and multimedia localization.
