Tia Johnson has a background in applied linguistics, second-language instruction (English and French) and technical communication — and a passion for terminology management. As a senior program manager at Microsoft, she relies on this experience for her work with company-wide localization teams to manage the tools and processes used for multilingual terminology management. Tia is a member of TerminOrgs, a consortium of terminologists who work in large organizations. In her free time, she loves to read about dictionaries, attend yoga classes and walk around Seattle.
