Tom Raczka is a localization manager with InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG). His expertise is in localization technology, linguistics, localization management and procurement. Tom has consulted for leading global brands such as Gartner and CEB on agile localization workflows, and has managed global marketing campaigns and new brand launches (luxury, upscale and mainstream) in Europe, Middle East and Southeast Asia. As a qualified translator and interpreter, he is multilingual in five languages (so far) and has previously worked in consultancy and academia. Tom holds two master’s degrees with distinction from top universities in the UK (Imperial College London) and Poland as well as a postgraduate qualification in cloud-based localization technology from the University College London.
